Informace ke koronaviru – poděkování a masek pro kolegy/ Infromation to coronavirus – acknowledgement and homemade masks for you
Vážené kolegyně, vážení kolegové, (Special information for foreign colleagues below!)
rád bych Vám všem poděkoval za dosavadní přístup k řešení nastalé situace v souvislosti s opatřeními proti šíření koronaviru. Mám pocit, že se nám zatím daří vše zvládat, i když řešení nejsou vždy standardní a někdy trvají déle, než bychom si všichni přáli. Prosím, mějte trpělivost, buďte i nadále disciplinovaní a ohleduplní ke svému okolí a snažte se udržet pozitivní náladu jak na pracovišti, tak doma. Buďte také v kontaktu se svými vedoucími a udržujte oboustrannou informovanost. Případné podněty můžete samozřejmě předávat i na sekretariát ředitele (271 015 233, ibot@ibot.cas.cz).
V souvislosti se zavedenými opatřeními na Vás mám prosbu. Pro zajištění jak provozu vědeckých pokusů, tak podpory vědy stále mnoho pracovníků musí pobývat na pracovišti. Pro cesty ale i provoz jim ovšem chybí dostatek roušek, které by si mohli střídat. Dále tu máme také kolegy z ciziny, kteří mají omezené možnosti si roušky opatřit. Zaregistroval jsem, že mnoho z Vás se také pustilo do šití. Rád bych Vás proto požádal, zda byste mohli našít přes víkend nějaké roušky navíc pro své kolegy? Roušky můžete odevzdávat na vrátnici v Průhonicích a v Třeboni a na stejném místě si je i kolegové mohou od pondělí 23.3. vyzvednout. V Brně bude roušky vybírat i distribuovat Eliška Maršálková. Doma šité roušky je samozřejmě nutné před prvním použitím sterilizovat např. vyvařením.

Dear colleagues
I would like to thank you all for your approach to addressing the current situation in relation to the measures against the spread of coronavirus. I feel that we have managed everything so far, even though the solutions are not always standard and sometimes last longer than we would all like. Please be patient, stay disciplined and considerate to your colleagues and strive to maintain a positive mood both in the workplace and at home. Keep in touch with your supervisors and stay informed. Special information for foreign colleagues
By the decree of the Czech government from Thursday 19th March 00:00 hh, every person in the Czech Republic has to wear a protective mask on his/her face while in public space.
You can use at least an improvised protection, such as a scarf, bandanna etc., placed over your mouth and nose, in order to limit the risk of spreading the aerosol, as you speak and breathe.
It is mandatory to wear it in particular when getting into a closer contact with your colleagues in the workplace, while traveling by public transport and during shopping and visiting any confined public spaces, where other people are present.
The purpose of this decree is to restrict the spread of aerosol potentially containing the corona virus by more-or-less asymptomatic carriers.
Another key aspect is the psychological impact. It is crucial to reassure your colleagues that you are not representing „a potential infectious threat“. Comfort others and manifest your commitment to the collective effort of containing the spread of the virus!
We understand that your opportunity to get a mask is very limited. Therefore, we plan to organize collection of homemade masks during weekend also for you. They will be available at main gates in Průhonice and Třeboň from Monday 23rd. In Brno, Eliška Maršálková will be responsible for collection and distribution. Homemade mask is necessary to sterilize, e.g. by boiling in water, before first use.
