Nowadays, Arctic and Antarctic research is considered to be one of the greatest priorities of science because of their importance for planetary climate balance as well their potential threat by climate change. This fact led to the construction of Czech research stations in the polar regions and the establishment of the National Centre for Polar Regions Research (Czech abbrev. NCVPO). At the present time, the strategy of funding the operating, management and development costs of the polar stations is inconvenient and unsustainable for the future. Therefore, we present this proposal of the CzechPolar Project - Czech Polar Stations: Construction and Management.
