The Life for Minuartia project has been selected as one of the finalists for the LIFE Awards 2022
The project is already considered one of the twelve “Best LIFE Projects”. The award is given annually by the European Commission in cooperation with the National Focal Points to about 12 out of approximately 150 LIFE projects from all over Europe, based on their contribution, degree of innovation, compliance with policies and cost-effectiveness. The project is now competing to be a LIFE Award winner in one of the following categories::
- Environment
- Nature and Biodiversity
- Climate Action
A jury will select one winner from each of these categories. In addition, EU citizens will vote online for their favourite project. The project with the highest votes will receive the LIFE Citizens’ Prize.
