Career

In 2025, a gender audit of the Gender Equality Plan (GEP) was carried out, and a new Equal Opportunities Plan for the 2025–2028 period was developed. The updated Plan builds on the activities implemented in the previous period while also reflecting the European Commission’s revised requirements. The evaluation of the measures implemented to date confirmed the Institute of Botany’s strong commitment to continuing these activities and further improving the working conditions of both women and men employed at the Institute.

The Gender Equality Plan (GEP) should contribute to creating a safe and non-discriminatory work environment that respects equality and diversity and provides all employees with the conditions necessary for both their professional as well as personal growth.
