My recent studies have primarily focused on the mechanisms driving diversity maintenance in tropical forest ecosystems, patterns of microbial distribution, and the impact of habitat fragmentation on biodiversity. My research aims to elucidate the mechanisms that sustain plant distribution and diversity from a microbial perspective. Methodologies include, but are not limited to, field and controlled greenhouse experiments, biological assays, and microbial genomic data analysis.
