Name: Categories and evaluation of recreational, sport and tourist activities impact related to ecosystems of central zone in Biospheric Reservation Giant Mountains
Researchers: Vítková Michaela (member of research team)
Provider: MŽP ČR
Realization from: 2003
Realization to: 2005
Summary: The aim of the botanical monitoring was to determine the type and the extent of vegetation damage and to assess changes in species composition of the upper parts of the Giant Mts. A study of short-term changes was processed in 2004, main trends in the development of vegetation in the last five years were detected on eight transects. Phytosociological classification of edge and transition communities was made as well. In 2005 autochthonous and apophytic plant species were mapped along 32 sections of trails according to the methodology of RNDr. J. Husáková and long-term trends of road verges development were detected for a period of the last 30 years. A grade of anthropogeneous impact on various types of autochthonous vegetation and a ratio of allochthonous species on studied localities have been evaluated in accordance to a tourism impact.
