Summary: During the evaluation phase of phytosociological studies the poorly represented vegetation types were identified. From these \\\"critical syntaxa\\\" we have selected specific types on the basis of their significance from the point of view of national biodiversity protection. The main focus included semixerotherm grasslands of South Bohemia limestone region, dry psammophytic grasslands of Biosphere Reserve Třeboňsko, xerotherm vegetation with relic Cardaminopsis petraea, dry annual grasslands with Gagea bohemica, subthermophilous communities of the Violion caninae alliance and calciphilous beech-dominated forests. Several minor studies were performed for primary analysis of less-known regions.
