Realization to: 2026
Summary: The main objective of the project is to map AM fungal communities in soils of preserved Daurian forest-steppe sites and relate their diversity and composition to biotic and abiotic drivers. AM fungal communities will be analysed at sites differing in altitude, orientation and plant community composition. In that, the project will provide a pilot study for research on feedbacks between forest-steppe plants and their mycorrhizal symbionts in the context of climatic and land-use changes.
