Summary: The aim of the project is to design and automate the technology for monitoring the spread and controlling the effectiveness of various types of management of selected invasive and expansive plant species using advanced DPZ methods. Sub-goals: 1. To acquire multispectral UAV data with very high spatial resolution at different times (in different development phases) and at the same time botanical reference data for localities with stands of species of interest in the Krkonoše and Orlické hory. 2. To test the reliability of mapping invasive/expansion plants using DPZ for (a) effective monitoring of spread and (b) control of the success of various management interventions (grazing, mowing, chemical treatment, mulching), based on the results to design a verified technology and method of its implementation, including an automated data processing tool.
