Summary: The main objectives are verification, validation and practical testing of innovative technology of hybrid electrochemical production of oxidative radicals, synergistically combining high-frequency plasma wastewater treatment with micro-cavitation, ozonization and photocatalysis, for decomposition of pharmaceuticals, pesticides, disinfection in and tertiary treatment of waste and contaminated waters. The project addresses the most serious limitations of known methods of socalled advanced oxidation processes (AOP) in removing problematic micro-pollutants - their energy and investment demands, the formation of undesirable by-products and a narrow interval of suitable reaction conditions. The technology aims at small WWTPs, which are missing the tertiary treatment for micro-pollutant refineme
