|Summary:||The project aims to tackle fundamental questions on the effects of landscape fragmentation on pollinator services, plant functional diversity, degree of pollinator specialization and plant population fitness. In this project plant-pollinator interactions are perceived as filters that determine plant composition and abundance in individual fragments of wet meadows differing in size and degree of isolation. Beside a theoretical knowledge on the function of this important biotic filter, our project should also provide specific conservation suggestions for biodiversity protection and maintenance of ecosystem services provided by these habitats.|
