Summary: The aim of the project is to answer the following questions: 1) Do inoculated isolates of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) persist in a vegetable production system for two years? 2) Do AMF isolates spread in the agricultural soil from localized inoculum patches? 3) How is the persistence and spread of inoculated AMF influenced by their identity and crop sequence?
