The NIBIO (Norwegian Institute of Bioeconomy Research) research agenda and forest surveillance programme will be introduced. The research on the use of organic residues, such as digestate, as fertilisers with regard to GHG emissions will be presented.

Dr. Føreid is a visiting scientist within a grant (no. 0545612020) of the Trolltunga Call from Bilateral Fund of the Programme „Environment, Ecosystems and Climate Change“ supported by the Norway Grants 2014 ‐ 2021, awarded to the Institute of Botany of the CAS (Dr. Eva Baldassarre Švecová) and the NIBIO. This bilateral initiative is aimed at the establishment of the collaboration of the on the eco-friendly forest tree growth promotion and implementation of sustainable practices.
