Summary: Controlled fishpond management was tested on permanent plots along the shore of Lůsy penninsula. The state of littoral vegetation was recorded in 2011 (reed-bed area size and total plant species diversity), and the results were compared with the data from preceding period (since 1998). Besides, initial vegetation stage was recorded in two newly constructed pools in littoral reed belt. The vegetation changes were related to controlled fishpond management and other environmental influences. Positive influence of fluctuating water level was found, as well as negative influence of high fish stock.
