I am a PhD student in Botany. For my PhD thesis I am studying how root associated biota changes across climatic gradients in two Himalayan shrub species with contrasting resource use strategies. Further I am also exploring the impact of environmental factors such as moisture and temperature, on root biochemical traits. I also aim to understand the effect of local and foreign root associated biota on plant performance, fitness and defense.
