I am a botanist with Ph.D. in plant biogeography. I am currently investigating biomass allocation to rhizomes in perennial herbs from central Europe and its relationship with environmental variables and plant age. I am interested in how plant traits vary spatially and I have experience in estimating spatial variation in functional diversity metrics. I also have experience in habitat suitability modelling, data analysis and floristic surveys.
Expertise:
Analysis of plant allometry
GIS
Floristic analysis
Education:
2016-2020 PhD, Kings College London, United Kingdom
Employment:
From 2020, Post-doctoral researcher at the Institute of Botany of the Czech Academy of Sciences, Třeboň, Czech Republic
2004-2016, Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, London, United Kingdom
