Summary:	The project deals with the xerothermic vegetation of the Czech Republic using analysis and synthesis of historical and phytocoenological data and evaluation of vegetation dynamics. Nature of two geographically distinct areas of Bohemian basin and Moravian Pannonian district will be compared and the data collected for many decenia will be completed for the first time. This will enable a complex view on the most diverse type of the Czech vegetation and will contribute to knowledge of two different vegetational areal in Central Europe.
