My specialization is arbuscular mycorrhiza, and my research aims at interconnecting ecology of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) and physiology of mycorrhiza. My main research interests have been the relationship between the identity and/or diversity of the fungal partners and mycorrhiza functioning in plants under biotic and abiotic stress with special interest in the rhizosphere signaling between the plant and the AMF under stress conditions.
