Moreover, we aim at documenting historical demographic changes in populations of <em>Cyperus fuscus<\/em>. The specific questions to be answered are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1. What is the distribution of diploid and tetraploid populations of <em>Cyperus fuscus<\/em> in Austria, the Czech Republic and Slovakia?<\/li>\n<li>2. Are diploids and tetraploids ecologically segregated? Do diploids and tetraploids occupy different ecological niches?<\/li>\n<li>3.
