Nov\u011b vznikl\u00e1 skupina je specializov\u00e1na na v\u00fdzkum rozli\u010dn\u00fdch aspekt\u016f evoluce rostlin na mnoha hierarchick\u00fdch \u00farovn\u00edch: po\u010d\u00ednaje I) zm\u011bnami na \u00farovni jedinc\u016f a jejich genom\u016f (horizont\u00e1ln\u00ed p\u0159enos gen\u016f, endopolyploidizace, cytogenetika), p\u0159es II) studium mikroevolu\u010dn\u00edch proces\u016f na \u00farovni populac\u00ed (interakce mezi cytotypy, fylogeografie, atd.), III) v\u00fdzkum vz\u00e1jemn\u00fdch vztah\u016f na druhov\u00e9 \u00farovni (evoluce diploidn\u011b-polyploidn\u00edch komplex\u016f, hybridn\u00ed speciace, molekul\u00e1rn\u00ed systematika, atd.), a\u017e po IV) detekov\u00e1n\u00ed evolu\u010dn\u00edch sil uplat\u0148uj\u00edc\u00edch se na rodov\u00e9 a vy\u0161\u0161\u00ed \u00farovni (nap\u0159. d\u016fvody rozd\u00edln\u00e9 radiace).<\/p>\n<p>Hlavn\u00edm p\u0159edm\u011btem v\u00fdzkumu jsou vlastn\u00ed evolu\u010dn\u00ed procesy a jejich vliv na rozpozn\u00e1vanou biodiverzitu. Geograficky je v\u00fdzkum zac\u00edlen p\u0159edev\u0161\u00edm na Eurasii, rovn\u00edkov\u00e9 Andy a Kapskou kv\u011btennou oblast. Z\u00e1kladn\u00edm principem pr\u00e1ce je kombinace ter\u00e9nn\u00edch, experiment\u00e1ln\u00edch a laboratorn\u00edch p\u0159\u00edstup\u016f.
