Response of plant communities to invasion: trans-continental biogeographical comparisons of the effects of alien and native dominants

Name: Response of plant communities to invasion: trans-continental biogeographical comparisons of the effects of alien and native dominants
Researchers: Hejda Martin (researcher)
Project Type: B - national grants (GA ČR, GA AVČR)
Realization from: 2011
Realization to: 2015
Summary: The project is focused on i) the coexistence of species with the dominant plant species and ii) the community resilience after the dominant species´ removal. These issues are examined in the both native and invaded ranges of the dominant plant species. Species native to Europe and invasive to North America and vice versa were used for the comparisons.
