Summary: The project focuses on long-term site-specific quantitative and qualitative changes in forest stands in space and time. In particular time series of historical cartographic and paleoecological data and recent floristic and phytosociological data allow for the assessment of indicators for the spatial analysis of dynamics of forest changes as well as for the design of respective measures. These measures will significantly contribute to the development of semi-natural to natural forests in accordance with the respective national park regulations.
