Locations

The conference is organized by the Institute of Botany, Academy of Sciences of Sciences of the Czech Republic, Průhonice, and the Faculty of Science, Charles University Prague, in cooperation with the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague. The conference takes place at the campus of the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague.

Conference hall and registration desk are located at the University campus in a quiet suburban area of Prague (Suchdol), 30 minutes by public transport from the city centre.
The address of the campus: Czech University of Life sciences/Česká zemědělská univerzita v Praze, Kamýcká 129, CZ-16521 Praha 6 – Suchdol.


How to get there:
By public transport:
1) From the Prague-Ruzyně Airport: Take the bus no. 119 to the metro Terminal, “Dejvická” station (interval 5–10 min, duration ca 23 minutes). Change to the bus no. 107 or 147, direction Suchdol or Výhledy (interval 5–10 min, duration ca 15 min). To reach the conference venue with registration desk, alight from the the bus stop Zemědělská univerzita.
2) From the city centre, main train station etc.: Use underground (Metro) line A (green line) to the terminal station “Dejvická”. Change to the bus no. 107 or 147, direction Suchdol or Výhledy (interval 5–10 min, duration ca. 15 min). To reach the conference venue with registration desk, alight from the bus stop Zemědělská univerzita.

To reach the university campus from the airport or city center, you need a 26 CZK ticket (transfer ticket valid for 1 hour and 15 min). Tickets are sold in the ticket vending machines (these accept only coins) and in most tobacco or press shops and kiosks. On a bus, you can also buy the ticket directly from the driver for 30 CZK. By taxi: From the Airport and city center, the fare to Prague-Suchdol should not exceed 500 CZK (ca 20 EUR). The maximum prices for taxi services in the district of the capital city of Prague: ride in the district of the capital city of Prague 28 CZK/1 km; boarding fee 40 CZK; waiting 6 CZK/1 min.

Each taxi has to be equipped with a permanetly installed roof lamp with the TAXI sign. The registration number, company name and the price list including the basic rate, kilometer rate and one-minute-waiting rate must be displayed on both front doors of the taxi. These prices must correspond with the prices set on the taximeters in the taxi. Customers are recommended to order a taxi by means of nonstop dispatching offices, where the information on fares is available in advance. When the journey is completed, the driver is obliged to issue an orderly and fully filled receipt for the payment. The receipt has to be issued by the taxameter printer.

By car: Note that for using highways in the Czech Republic, your car will need a driving permit (vignette) (7-day vignette for 220 CZK, 1-month for 330 CZK; the vignettes are available at border check points, post offices and petrol stations); motorbikes do not need a vignette.
There are free parking facilities in the campus (in front of student dormitories).
