Summary: Studies on dispersal ability of species usually focus only on one dispersal vector. But species are often able to disperse by several vectors. In our study, we want to assess the dispersal ability of target species Jasione montana. We will focus on several ways of its dispersal, using various existing methods. Information about dispersal ability of the species will be an important input into the model of landscape dynamics of the species. Thus we will be able to assess the influence of the dispersal ability, of each dispersal vector separately, as well as of the chosen method of dispersal assessment on the landscape dynamics of the species. We will also determine whether using only the main dispersal vector in our models is enough for assessing the species dispersal ability. This would suggest that existing studies on dispersal which use only one vector are sufficient.
